Pop-up stopped by Panicware, also free. Just search for Panicware. I use it on computers that have Internet Explorer as one of the browsers. I love hearing the little beep, every time it blocks a pop-up window ad. lol

If you are running Netscape 7.0 or above, the killer was coded into it, the ads don't even load, they just get truely blocked. AOL had the option blocked (hmm interesting guess as to why?) but if you go on the web you can re-install it.

Netscape 7.1 is smooth, fast, FREE and has many interesting features. One is that your mail will not open Klez, Goldfish or most virus attachments, they are deleted before they get to your system. IE is the target for most attacks.

If you are starting over on a computer or starting a new one, consider using Netscape Navigator and Communicator 7.1 for those two simple reasons. 1) It blocks pop-ups 2) It blocks most email viruses
