flashback in time. It's 1981, and it's Porkchop's first trip to Las Vegas. She's seen lights and sights that awed and amazed her, she's eaten prime ribs, she's gambled, she's had a few drinks, and she's sunbathed by the pool. She's been having a GREAT time....

She's young and in love. Her man is a couple of years older, and has been to Vegas several times. As they've travelled from casino to casino, she's admired some of the little pieces of clay that she's seen on the tables. She'd really like to take some as souvenirs...but she doesn't want her man to see her as an unsopisticated tourist from Podunk (which she is! ). She's "justified" picking up a few souvenir ashtrays, as they both smoke....but hasn't been brave enough to play cards by herself (so she can slip a chip into her purse).

She visualizes asking her man for a couple of chips...."What do you want them for?" "Souvenirs" "Souvenirs??? Would you keep money as a souvenir?" Eventually she does get 2-3 chips. You saw one a few days ago.....here's another.
