Have you seen these chips?? Heres our story!!
Back in Michigan over ten years ago we made a monthly trip up north to each of the casinos looking for casino chips & tokens. On one trip we stopped at LVD during the week and checked out everything. We noticed I believe 3 BlackJack tables and 1 poker table. I sat down to play BlackJack and was collecting all the chips I could. In the meantime Janice was talking with management about the poker table being closed.. The chips on this table were different than the BlackJack Tables. She asked when did the table open?? She was told, It is only open on weekends..
Not to be stopped, she asked if we could acquire
chips from the poker table as we were avid CHIP Collectors and drove all the way up here from Howell (300 miles) to get their chips.. She was told I don't think so, but we will check into it for you. I continued playing and about 30 minutes later the fellow she was talking to came back and told her they held a Council Meeting and decided she could have one set of chips BUT Under one Condition. Perplexed, Janice asked, What is it??
He said that we would have to PAY FACE VALUE for each of the chips.. DUH!! She immediately said yes and they made the deal. What a deal!!!
