My youngest daughter is dating a guy who is a bartender at dance clubs. He told us that he has actually refused to give people their drinks unless they tip him. I tried to tell him politely that that type of behavior isn't socialy acceptable but I don't think he got the hint. I know that I would fire any bartender that worked for me if he was begging tips.
