Allen; The issue of slabbing has never stopped me from trading with friends. There is much interest in this slabbing subject as witnessed by the length of this thread. While there may have been millions of words written in the past on slabbing ... many of the new-comers to this bb are reading material on this subject for the very first time.

While the issue may eventually die a slow death, and I hope it does, one should not forget how this situation arose and from time to time some of us may need a wake up call so that it does not arise again by those who are not familiar with where we've been.

Some folks are interested in certain topics that may not be of interest by others. There is plenty of room on this bb for all viewpoints. Many subjects that have been well covered in the past are from time to time resurected for the benefit of newbies.... such as the Brass Cores investigation.

Now, who wants to know when the 2003 Convention Dates are ... and who didn't get their magazine yet?
