I couldn't agree more. Why cut the general membership out of having a say on this topic? I think the BOD, present, past and future have enough to deal with without having to appoint another group of people to make a decision that will ultimately be unpopular with some because they didn't get the opportunity to have input. Let's not fix something that isn't broken. The people that are truly interested in nominating and voting will continue to do so.
