Hi John, I am one of many that collect casino tokens. We were collecting tokens long before we
started chips. We have close to every $1 slot token ever issued in Nevada and most other areas as well. Most of the $5 and some $25. I sell many more check lists for tokens than
I do for chips.
As you have seen in the club magazine, there are very few that will take the time to write anything about tokens thus they take a back seat to the chips.
As far as I am concerned the club itself relegates the tokens to the back room by the computerization of the club name (CC>CC). This just deletes any mention of tokens when it would be just as simple to use all the initials
(CCGTCC) instead of(>).
Just another opinion that all you chip collectors are not going to like.
And as far as selling tokens, Most chip people try to sell used tokens that they pick up along the way. Most token collectors are pretty picky (ala coin collectors) and want them in pretty much new condition.
Have a good day, Janice O'neal
