You're 100% certain of an ethics infraction... while a lot of others are not. This is what others are trying to "sell" to you as you're trying to "sell" to everyone else that your decision was without flaw.
The decision has been made and I doubt there is a process in the constitution, by-laws or ethics to re-instate a member if additional evidence was submitted (after-all, it would null-and-void the club's ethics stance all-together).
A friendly viewpoint... I've truly neutral in my position. I don't see enough evidence to have expelled him, but as I've said before, it could've been the manner the transcript was authored. What I have observed is... your continue defense of your decision and a lot of dissenting viewpoints. As I've also said in the past, taking a defensive stance is not an enviable position to be in.
