Not to go off on a tangent but....
The sad part here is not that the Board made a decision expel Mel from the club, but the fact that there are more people that were implicated that continue to do business as usual.
I don't think there is a single person out there that believes that Mel was the only one involved in this debacle.
This Brass core issue has done the hobby irreparable harm and while the board considers this a closed issue, I wonder if those that have extensive "brass" collections agree.
As far as allowing Mel to have his tribute published, I agree that it was a noble gesture on his part to eulogize his friend.
I however also agree that once expelled we shouldn't have an asterik next to the expulsion allowing exceptions.
There are several no holds barred public venues where this could have been done, the chipboard being among them.
