Larry, Rule of thumb is either take just one or two, or take a full stack of 20. When a complete stack is gone, they dont pick up on it as easily.

Its correct to take the stack when at $1.00. If its more then you are over paying for the chips, and if its less then they will watch for it. They dont want people taking the chips when at a 50 cent value and putting them back on the table at 1.00. Mind you most places dont offer 50 cent roulette anymore. If you're lucky enough to find one, then you are lucky. Again the rule of theumb is when you harvest chips leave the casino right away. Some people will even bring an extra shirt with them to leave in the car incase they have to come back in to cash out other chips. I have a friend that wears as black shirt to harvest, but then keeps a brightly colored hawaiian type shirt in the car to change into. Its so bold in color , theres no way they would think it was him. I thought that was pretty novel.
