I have some more important stuff for newbies. I just got back from Chicago and havent had time to write them out as I would normally do. Here goes the general ideas:
Under what I ca the "Tricks of the Trade" also known as important things to help make things easier when trading. I'll just touch on the points and leave off the explanainions.
1. When shipping a larger group of chips of expensive chips utilize the wealth of services that the post offices offer i.e., insurance, signature required, delivery confirmation, etc.
2. Save yourself some time: Theres no need to run back and forth to the post office to mail out chips. Once you've picked out the type of bubble mailers that you like, take a number of them and place different numbers of chips into them. Use the same method that you would to ship the package. For instance if you are going to put the chips into plastic flips, then use them. The idea is to weight the packages at the post office and mark down what the first class postage will be for each. Typically, the range is .60, .83 etc. Pick up plenty of 60 cent stamps, as well as 23 centers. Most rraders will simply get a bunch of 23 cent stamps to use with the stqandard 37 cent stamp to mail out a package needing 60 cents. from there an additional 23 cent stamp is needed to mail out a package needing 83 cents.
3. Never allow chips to bounce around in the mailer. Use two chip flips, or purchase a few plastic 30 chip pages and cut them up to accomidate different numbers of chips as needed.
Thats all for now. I have more things, but not sure where i put the paper after I wrote them down.
