SEMINOLES TOP OFF HARD ROCK HOTEL
Seminole tribal dignitaries and friends recently celebrated the topping off of the 12-story Hard Rock Hotel Casino in Tampa. The $100-million project is being built by the Cordish Co., a Baltimore developer, and Perini-Suitt, a joint venture contractor handling the Hard Rock construction. The 250?room hotel will be adjacent to a 90,000-square-foot casino. Scheduled to open in April 2004, the new casino-hotel replaces a smaller gaming hall on the site. The number of players is expected to increase from about 2,000 a day to 10,000.
