This may be one of those posts that makes Gene respond with a "Duh!", but here goes...

I was just playing around with a scanned image of an arrowdie(arodie,arrodie,etc.) when I noticed that the dice around the outside are arranged so that each die and the die exactly opposite it always equal seven. Cool, huh?

Okay...Maybe I'm a little slow...
