I don't know if it is a hoax or for real. An email came today from DerbyDoug@aol.com saying that his address book is infected by a virus called jdbgmgr.exe that is not detected by Norton or McAfee. The virus sits quietly for 14 days before damaging the system. He does not give his name nor do I know who he is but he says that I am in his address book along with many others. He says that the virus is sent automatically by messenger and by the address book, whether or not he sends emails to his contacts. He goes through a seven step cycle to eradicate the virus and then says that I have to contact everyone in my book so that they can eradicate it in their address books. IS THIS A HOAX OR SHOULD I GO THROUGH THE PROCESS THAT HE SUGGESTS???
