It definately helps to have a wife that's a High School Spanish teacher! She spent half a year attending school and living in Salamanca, Spain and then took many groups of students there for 5 weeks during the summer before we were married. She also spent half a year attending school and living in Monterey, Mexico. Its hard not to pick up a few things with a native speaker in the house.
