If you re-read my posts, you'll see that I didnt "drag the sellers name through the mud" as you put it. In fact, I never mentioned the sellers name at all. I also clearly stated that i did not wish to trash the seller, but merely let the people here say what they thought of a 5 auction win and paying the seperate shipping for all. Would I have paid the full shipping? Of course I would have. But I would have also had each of the packages sent to a different address. That wouldnt have cost the seller anything more then if they were individual wins. After all, the shipping being charged was as if they were individual wins. So the seller really couldnt complain about that could they? I did not in any way shape or form try to "use those tactics to back out of my promise".
I dont feel my posts were unethical at all. In fact I pride myself in being not only ethical but morally sound and extrememly fair. I make it a point to always conduct my business in a way that i would want to be treated. A good example of this is, if you take a look at my auctions....is that I guarentee my auctions to be exactly as described. If not, I will not only refund all of the auction price, but i refund all of the shipping fee as well. I state this in my auctions. I also treat CC& members with an added respect. I state in my auctions that CC& members get imeadiate shipping. I don't wait for checks to clear or money orders to arrive. If they let me know they are a member, or put an R-number after their name, i send right away. So, if anything, I am at fault for wishing to be treated as well as I treat others. Unethical?? Pienso que no. Translation: I think not.
Al, If you re-examine my posts I think you'll see where I was coming from. You're a smart man. I'm confident you'll see there was nothing unethical, or with any intended malice in what I said in my posts.
