Fred,
I ran the 1st Poker tournament at the Excalibur and the 2nd one at the Orleans. We never lost one chip through harvesting. The chips had the host casinos logo on one side and the Club logo on the obverse. All entrants recieves one 5 chip set $1, $5, $25, $100, & $500 after the tournament. They can buy additional sets for $15.
There is no reason to harvest them.
Sales of the chips goes to the club treasury.
Harvesters would be stealing from their own club.
Robert Pardue will decide the amount of sets made. I believe there were 650 made last year. IMO, the chips should be more popular this year because on the popularity of the Palms logo.
