Everyone who follows my posts knows I've been selling my $100 HRs (among other things) to add to my house down payment. So Thursday I find myself totally sorted out with the house, but no money to get through the weekend. So I look through my chips, and I still have an extra $100 Chilli Peppers chip. On eBay it goes for between $110 and $150, and I know I'll end up on the low end of that if I need to sell it w/in a week. nd then I'll have to make a stand on shipping for a chip I get $115 for and still pay ebay costs. So I say f-it, I'll cash it in. I'm at the HArd Rock all the time, no big dea; Well it took about 5 minutes for the cashier to determine this was an actual HR chip and give me some money. She was polite and all, but she had to run it by a surpervisor. i'm not complaining -- service was great, but these chips have only been out 6 weeks or so and the cage is confused by them. Just a weird story I thought I'd share.
