I have had problems doing that also. If you save the whole thing as a web page it doesn't seem to work. I highlight just the area I want and save it that way and it seems to work. The problem is that HTML seems to expand the file size by 2X or more. Of course there are still lots of people who can't open an Excel file so the HTML works for everyone.
