Re: Question about Oklahoma Casinos

Robert,

Actually, yes I have a little. The National Indian Gaming Commission recently changed its view on blackjack as a class II gaming activity. They now veiw it as a class III activity. As far as I know, all casinos in Oklahoma, except Cherokee, have stopped the blackjack operations. I still can not get any official word, but suspect that the Cherokee tribe is going to challenge this change of opinion. It appears that all the other tribes are going to follow the Cherokee tribes lead and await the outcome of their efforts (legal).

I have called a few casinos and all have told me the same story. For now, Cherokee casinos should be doing well with all of the blackjack business.

I saw the post with the scans of the grand lake casino. They sure looked nice. Look at my traders list (link at the bottom). I would like to maybe do another trade. I would like to see your extras as well.

Thanks!

Waylon
