if you want facts posted, you should stick to them. You wrote "Secondly, Pam's problem was over 3 years ago."
If I posted that it was " over 3 years ago", I apologize. I believe that I said it was 3 years ago....if you'll look at the feedback that Dean left me (I posted it in the thread), you'll see that the feedback was in March of 2000. Not quite 3 years ago.
You also wrote "I believe that "newbies" should be given information about problem dealers, but if they are to make intelligent decisions, they need all the information available." That's exactly what I've attempted to do with my posts. "ALL the information..."
Your suggestion of "If you want to post "This guy will not guarantee delivery of his chips" after every post he makes on the board, be my guest." really doesn't cover all of the information that's available. My post would have to be something like: "Warning! This guy will not guarantee delivery of YOUR chips! (sidenote-if I've paid for them, they're MINE, not "his"). If they're not delivered, he's uncooperative and will not provide information requested by the post office! He has a temper and will leave retaliatory, inflamatory, (borderline?) slanderous feedback!"
Thank you for your suggestions, I do try to keep my posts civil. I think that information is taken more seriously when it is presented in a calm and factual manner. However, as one of the people who has dealt with the attitude of Mr. Clark, I would guess that Bill Sargent's post was probably a case of "Do unto others as they have done unto you." Dean is NOT nice to deal with, and is very good at adding insult to injury. Yes, it was ALMOST 3 years ago, but I haven't forgotten how I was treated....if it had happened to you, you just might feel the same way.
I don't have a problem with you, Jim, but since my problem with Dean happened to me and not to you, please allow me to deal with it as I see fit, not how you think I should.
