Okay, maybe 35 days...
My collections to date include:
Ivories (I have them in a frame of 12)
American Jetons (I have them in a frame of 12 - not filled)
Indiana Illegals (I have 83 different, in a binder)
1968 Circus Circus (I have 5: 50c, $1, $5, 1 Prize & 5 Prize)
$1 Riverboats (I've bought 4 frames: (2) 63 for H&C chips, (2) 20 - 1 for Chipco and 1 for Bud Jones chips) In the last 24 hours, I've been able to purchase 87 different UNCIRCULATED chips from members of this board. Thank you!
Indiana Roulettes (I'm still working on these).
So in a little over 30 days, I've collected 193 chips. I'm still new and hope to find some different areas to collect at the shows in Chicago and Las Vegas this year. I guarantee I'll have over 1,000 chips by year's end. I just don't know what chips will be part of our collection. My biggest limitation is, I believe any item I collect should be on display for others to see... that's a lot of frames! The Ivories and Jetons look good anywhere in the house... but as the frames get bigger, I'm limited to where they fit our decor.
I've bought the TGT Audit Edition and Greg's Riverboat Casino book (I can't wait to get them!).
To date, I've met 4 members of the club... I look forward to meeting more in Chicago and Las Vegas this year. We're going to Biloxi in October and may be able to meet more members there.
Thanks for the fun times... I hope they continue!
