... WORTHLESS" is a statement of opinion, not fact. Therefore, by definition, it cannot be libelous.

I do, however, agree with your assessment that the correct target of any such suit (whether meritorious or not) should be the person who makes the statement, not the operator of the venue in which it is expressed.
