The sidewalk that lines the street in front of the house is also known as the concrete that most cities claim as part of a city owned boulevard in front of every property. I was talking about the perpendicular walk, not the parallel. ...if the house has a perpendicular walk that goes to the street. ...if it ends at your front door, porch, or steps, chances are you own it! These days, your "personal" sidewalk often is between the driveway and the front door, and doesn't go near the sidewalk on the boulevard.
