Arizona Road Trip Report

I am just back from a six day road trip: San Diego, Yuma, Tucson, Phoenix, Palm Spings and back to San Diego. Stopped at about a sixteen casinos.
Most of the AZ casinos are working to expand to add more slots and blackjack as approved in last Nov elections.
Yuma area: Cocopah, south of Yuma; new casino building about 3 times larger almost finished on the outside, they plan to open it with both slots and table games by Labor Day.
Paradise AZ and CA; two casinos about 15 ft.apart on the state line; both doing brisk business.
Between Yuma and Tucson stopped in Why, AZ to visit Goldan Hasan; a convience store with slots, way out in the middle of nowhere on AZ 86, On AZ 86 major law enforcement presence both police and Border Patrol, not a route I would take at night.
Tucson Area: Casino Del Sol finishing up major expansion. All four local casinos planning expansion with more slots and blackjack.
My thanks to Jim Follis for giving me the grand tour of the local casinos.
Phoenix Area: Gila Rivers third location "Lone Butte" open, slots only. Casino AZ north location adding second hard tent to hold more slots and blackjack.
Most AZ locations predict that they will need a $2.50 chip when they roll out blackjack.
Palm Springs Area,CA: 3 more new concert star chips from Trump 29; Earth Wind & Fire, Bill Cosby, and Julio Iglesias.
Came home with lots of Chips, Tokens, Slot Cards and EZPays to add to the collection.
