Campiglia/Wells have a notation at the bottom of the Silver Nugget 2nd issue series (which is where they place your $25) that sez "(Beware - Some inlays are overstamped and cleaned.). Sounds as if you might have a cancelled version like the Reno Monte Carlo Lrg Key chips. Believe TCR lists cancelled chips like these as variations but I don't see one in #9. Hope you can get a scan, would like to see it!
