---You have no point. You have almost no knowledge of slot play----
As a matter of fact I have NO knowledge of slot machines.
--and because you can't win you presume that no-one else can.---
One major reason I can't win is because I don't play. My friend and I had a $10.00 coupon which he used at the Sands last week. I spent one of the most boring hours I can remember in a long time watching him play his coupon and mine. He ended up winning $17.75 only because it didn't cost us anything. If we had to invest the $20.00 in cash, we would have lost $2.50.
But the point is that to me, it's boring. No matter if we win or lose. I don't mind making a $100.00 bet on a hand of poker, but for some reason I just can't get myself to throw a nickel down the slot--might as well toss it in a wishing well.
I won't drag this out anymore, but you did agree with me in that they were losing too much money so they stopped play. You say they don't mind losing $6 to $7 dollars per hour on the quarter machines. Well, I can see where they might not mind it on 1 or 2 machines or so, but I can hardly believe they all those quarter machines are programmed for that kind of loss--and for an extended period of time.
I'm going to bed as Bill O'day and I are headed up to Cache Breek tomorrow for their weekly hold-em tournament. Don't know if you've been to any California Indian Casinos lately, but let me tell you, almost every machine is going full force--and not just the nickles. You should see all the people playing the $5.00 and $10.00 machines. The $25.00 and $100.00 are slow during the daytime. If Las Vegas and Reno had but just a fraction of their business they would be out of business within days (after paying off so many winners.)
