Thanks, Jay. As I noted elsewhere in the thread... Germans, Flemish and French have called "them" jetons in the past... and, only recently, have manufacturers made the distinction (as have some casinos).

I believe the hobby accepts the distinction between American Style and French Style gambling pieces (as most current manufacturers' catalogs illustrate). See CCTN; Vol. 13, #3.
