Mind Play is a system of cameras mounted in the rails of BJ tables. It tracks the edge marks (inserts) on chips. It is supposed to tell the casino who is betting and how much. It also verfies that the chips being bet are real chips and are that casinos chips. You can put up a stack of different denomination chips and it will tell you the total without the dealer breaking them down. It is supposed to do most of what a slot tracking system does.
The big 3, MGM Mirage, Mandalay Bay, and Park Place have signed on to it.
Bud Jones and B&G chips are the reccommended chips for the system. They have consistent inserts. Paul-Son chips are NOT reccommended.
There should be a massive re-racking by the Strip after the 90 day test period.
