I was born in Willimantic Connecticut. My father was director or orientation and admissions at UConn for 25 years. We lived about 15 minutes from campus in Chaplin, Ct. When I was 18 I moved to Memphis to play music. The casinos moved in just south of Memphis in Tunica, I went to dealers school, and the rest is history. vbg I still miss the UConn basketball games. My Father used to also be in charge of the ushering of all the UConn athletic games. He used his orientation staff as ushers. When I was 13 he paid me $15 a game to usher. Of course it was more like getting paid to watch a game. I can't really recall checking any tickets. vbg Those were the fun days!
