You're correct, John. It is very similar to the horsehead used on the Galveston, Maceo family, TAC Western Room, SQINCR chip. See TGT-Revised Ed. Pictograph P. 280. I'm not saying that the Carlo horsehead was used there but it could have been. Dale Seymour pictures this Carlo horsehead in the Animal Section of his "Antique Gambling Chips" book. I have it in two colors, blue & yellow.
