Just a quick update between "battles of the boards" ... am still in changover phase of new pc.

FINALLY got a transfer option open... will be slow going, but installing a brand new CD read-write (had to order - came in this afternoon) has allowed me to begin the tedious process of copying files for new pc.

Can only hope HD doesn't totally crash and burn before I get as much as I can
With bad blocks generating every boot (and pc freezing up frequently) - the only reason I'm taking a break is because we got my acc'ting data restored... which has been the most critical backup.

I have 100+ emails in my inbox... AFTER deleting the spam... so if you're still waiting on me...
go see a movie, take a vacation or build your retirement home... - I'll catch you as as soon as I can.

Next on my agenda is my chip database... I've worked on it dedicatedly since the last convention. Look me 6 months - 10-20 hours a week - to get all my chips inventoried...
I can only pray it is NOT going to disappear in the next block of dead sectors on my hard drive .
But if it does... on the up-side, if I spend 30 hours a week and don't sleep... I bet I can re-do it before the next convention!

As far as getting a new computer... new one is GREAT!!
This one has Windows XP (which is nice but I can't navigate in it yet.)
I upgraded my Adobe - (which would be GREAT except I can't figure out how to use it )
I have a new keyboard (which reinforces what a lousy typist I really am... ya barely touch these keys and ya get a "letter"... shame it is never the letter I was reaching for

SO - in Arnold-style... I'LL BE BACK.
