I found the rooms fairly clean, but clearly didnt have the feel of a new hotel. My biggest problem was the noise. The railroad tracks run right next to the hotel. The trains ran approx every 2 hours...all night long. The windows arent very sound proof and as a result i woke up ..every 2 hours, all night long. I was so put off by this I asked to have my room changed to a quieter side. My new room wasnt any better. Even though i was on the far side of the hotel, the trains were LOUD!! Ive stayed at a number of the hotels in Reno, including the Silver Legacy which is just a half a block away and never had this sort of problem. Im my opionion, I wouldnt stay there. Sleep is just too important.
The food was decent. Theres a little coffee shop/deli kind of plaze called the New York Deli on the main casino floor that had great sandwiches and food. Giant soup bowl like mugs of coffee too.
