I also do not bid on "private" auctions. If the seller can't be up front, and has to hide, there's something wrong.

Some reserve auctions are trolling for values, and never intended to sell. The low listing price, is to save on eBay fees.

Last one I saw who did this on all auctions, was the guy selling $100,000 in casino chips (which were all fantasy chips) so he could stop anyone from warning off bidders, that it was a scam.

I also don't know why some sellers say "Don't Use Checkout" or No Credit Card purchases using Paypal. I'm just happy to get someone to buy...
