Since the convention this year is after the school year ends, I'm bringing my wife and kids for the duration.

I told them over dinner that I was going to register them so they could get onto the convention floor itself, which was met with some laughter. My daughter asked if it was the room that she saw on Greg's webcam (with me waving to them while talking on the cell phone). I said "yes" and they let me know, in no uncertain terms, that they are prepared to be bored.

So, I do know where the ladies are coming from (if they don't share in the hobby, which mine dosen't).

That said, if anyone else is bringing some family in and wants some pool companions, lemme know!
