... is definitely the way to go, David, but you don't have to limit yourself to the "Favorite Search" feature. I have about 60 selective searches permanently set up (not all chips, some other things, too) -- I just set up a regular search with the specifications I want, execute it once and bookmark the resulting page. You can then click on the bookmark to execute the search again any time you want.
Searching this way you can also cut across all eBay categories if you want, so if something you're interested in is listed in an oddball category, you still find it.
And, if you set up the search criteria properly, you can virtually eliminate stuff you don't want to see (this sometimes means using the "-" feature of the search to eliminate some items).
Haven't looked at the full "Chips" category in a couple of years.
