Hi
I know this is off topic but I did warn you!
I was wondering what kind of age checking proceedures are undertaken by casinos for hotel guests.
The reason I ask is because I am more than likely going on a round the world trip this summer and the first stop happens to be Vegas, I didn't plan it - honest.
I know in Spain you have to provide a form of ID and pay to enter a casino every time and in the UK you become a member but have no idea what is done at Vegas, especially if you are a hotel guest.
I read on the Bellagio site that over 18s are allowed to book rooms but I know the legal age in 21 to gamble. This set my mind to work as to how they check a 20 year old guest isn't just walking into the casino.
I am asking because I am 19 but look 24 and even 28 if I don't shave and grow my 80's Miami Vice stubble. THe only US stops on the trip are Vegas and LA so I would like to know what the chance on getting into a Casino are.
On a side note, I will be with my girlfriend who is also 19 but appears 22+ and am a mature person, not a rowdy drunk uni student you may expect. Ask Ross about my appearance, he has briefly seen me.
I would be grateful for any help you can give me as the Vegas branch of this tour is unchangeable and I will be there regardless of the gambling if I go.
Regards,
Joseph Walsh
