Is there are so many people selling chips that an auction is NOT the appropriate way to sell them. Way too many current and common chips clog up the Ebay chip category. And as some have posted, there is no way you're going to make a decent "profit" if you go down to your local casino and buy some easily-available current chip and put it on Ebay. Few buyers want to pay enough above face plus Ebay fees plus postage, etc. to make it worthwhile. So why not just either trade your chips or offer them on Greg's board without a middleman? And if you're in Las Vegas you also have the problem that the chips you are selling on Ebay are readily available from a number of very reputable new issue dealers directly at a very low markup. So by the time you've paid Ebay fees, which they aren't paying selling directly, you can't meet their prices.
