You're right on both counts. I personally considered them a bit above mediocre now I think they're even less. The NIS person probably wanted an autograph for a chip or two that he intended to keep, certainly not all the chips he was buying. Given the time the poor guy spent in line to buy the chips, an autograph wouldn't have been such a big thing. Why was Mr. Pepper standing there in the first place? The big thing here is Mr. Pepper's ego. Some of these "celebrities" forget it's the little guys who put them where they are. The same goes double for the baseball players, some of whom grossly overestimate their worth. Didn't mean to be so longwinded...
