Re: The Value of Chipping?

Hi Janice,

You aren't alone, although some of us have gone through different phases of collecting to get to "I collect chips just to collect chips."

I went from trying to collect everything from everywhere, to everything from Colorado and AC, to everything from Colorado, to everything from Cripple Creek. It took me a while, but I discovered that my "everything" approach didn't really suit me or my personality.

Now I buy or trade for chips that I like. A lot of the chips in my collection have added personal value to me because of who I got them from. That value is not one that anyone can place a dollar figure. One of the most cherished chips in my collection is a $5 chip that Don Anthony sent me less than a month before he died.

Happy New Year!
