It was as a result of the eBay auction mentioned in this thread (initially by Travis) that we learned that these chips were from Missoula rather than Galveston.

I bought a box of the $20 black on eBay from Steve Goodrich in January 1999 (when they were still thought to be from Galveston). After they were attributed to Missoula, he bought some of them back!!

Many of the board regulars got there $20 Palace Poker chips from me, including Greg Susong and several of the posters in this thread (Don Lueders, Gene Trimble, Michael Knapp and Rick Miner).
