In memory of Bruce Landau, I decided to accept the position of Convention Auction Chairman. Bruce was a good friend and I felt that I wanted to do something in his memory. He loved the convention auction.

I have spoken to Eileen Landau and the lots that have been submitted to Bruce will be sent to me. The deadline for submission of items for the auction is December 31, 2002. If you had be talking to Bruce and were about to send in a lot, please send it directly to me as soon as possible. If you still want to send in a chip, I will extend the deadline by one week.

The auction is a critical element of the fund raising for the continued smooth running of the Club. I will be talking with the; Convention Chairman, auction volunteers and Board members to insure that the convention auction will run as smoothly as Bruce has always done it.
