Earlier, I posted a question about the best way to store my chips and got lots of good input.
Several people reported problems with color from their chips bleeding onto vinyl flips and binder pages. They recommended air tight cases.
My concern is that the air tight cases are very expensive compared to the pages/flips, and they don't seem as efficient as the pages do when browsing/displaying your collection at a trade event.
My question is are the vinyl pages safe for storing chips? If so, for how long? Should you not leave them in the pages long-term? Should you store them in air tight cases and only put them in the albums when you head to a trade event?
I'm very concerned about this because while I don't want my new collection to ruin, I'm also concerned about the expense and practicality of the air tights.
Please Help!!!
