I don't know if it helps anyone to know about some attachments or cheracteristics of the mail to look out for. I will attach to this some of the identifying info that came on a mail that I just received this evening. Be on the alert for any mails that you might receive. Remember they can be from FRIEND OR FOE. Also they can change from one person to another and the attachments can be the same, similar or not alike at all. Be cautious of anything that you receive that is unsolicited and has an attachment. Make sure your email software is NOT set to automatically open or download attachments. You want to make sure that opening or downloading can only be done with CONFIRMATION BY YOU. Update your AV (anti-virus) software immediately. I am going to do so myself.

If you receive a suspected email you might consider notifying your circle of friends to be careful of mail that you might appear to have sent. If the virus picked your email address from someone elses computer or this board and sent to you using a 3rd person as an alias it can certainly send to another person using your name as an alias, even if it hasn't infiltrated your machine.

The mail that I received was titled,

Fw: you care ur friend !

And had an attachment of

friendsearch.scr (28543 bytes) DL Time (24000 bps):

and read as follows. I have edited out the senders name as I do not want to cause him any further hastle and besides you could receive this from anyone here or in other circles or discussion groups....
