Thanks to Mark Cotton, I've gotten off the dime and fashioned this nifty old postcard into well wishes for Thechipboard patrons. Spent all day decorating the house for a family "do" Tues. night and decided to get this done.
As to the subject of the postcard. "A Winter Night", I'm open for info about your guess at date. Postally unused. I've been told the arch was erected in '24 ('27?) to promote some sort of Trans-Continental feat and then changed to "Biggest Little..." format and the torches were removed shortly after gaming started in '31. Can't see any casinos in this view and the building where Harold's Club located has Virginian painted on the side.
Anyhoo, friends, enjoy the picture and the holidays!
