Sure are a lot of viruses out there these days.

For those of you who don't have virus software, I recommend that you get it and keep it updated.

You don't have to spend a dime.. I use Grisofts AVG, which is completely free and works great. It's saved my bacon a few times now. Works with resident viruses and checks e-mail.

So if it's been the $40 that's keeping you back, give it a try.
