Your scans and you can't use them? It would seem that a good lawyer could make them sing a different tune. You have the eBay page to back up when it was first printed. I don't think they can claim it as their own. At the very least, you should be acknowledged in their book as having provided them with the scans. What's the name of their book? Only so that I won't buy it. Then again, they're probably related to the woman who spilled the McDonald's coffee on herself and sued the chain over the coffee being too hot.
