that confirms what you indicated. I remember getting this advice in college back in the early 80's. That person must have not known about the changes in the law. As a result, I always have made an effort to make sure that I have a copyright notice on all of my software code. Even though it appears not necessary, I will continue to denote my works with a copyright notice. Thanks for clearing that up!
