Three or four years ago, I was playing roulette there. While at the table, I was looking over some LE's that I had picked up playing blackjack, putting the chips in the best condition into my shirt pocket, pulling them back out to compare them to other chips as I went through a stack, and at the same time placing bets on the roulette table with their roulette chips.

...my shuffling between examining the LE's, taking them in and out of my pocket and betting roulette's apparently made one of the pit critters real nervous. Two more pit critters showed up and told the dealer to stop dealing the game. They did a bunch of whispering between them, and while they didn't announce to the players at the table why the game had been stopped, what they were doing wasn't too hard to figure out due to what was happening. The four of them were doing a hard count of the roulette chips on the table while trying not to make that fact too obvious. At least one of them (the guy that initiated the original action) was fairly sure that I was pocketing roulette chips. I wasn't, but I did keep doing the chip shuffle during the down time, with a smile on my face the whole time.

It was that weekend that I got you the largest Harrah's chip in the world, Jill! ...hope the dog hasn't chewed it up tooooo much.
