Does anyone know if there was any kind of gambling connection to these chips? I've been able to determine that Bill Gazzarri (who was known as the "Godfather of Rock-n-roll in Los Angeles") ran a rock-n-roll club on the Sunset Strip in the 1960's (called Gazzarri's on the Strip), where groups such as the Doors, the Byrds and Buffalo Springfield played. Van Halen also played there when they were starting out. But, I haven't been able to find anything on "Gazzarri's A-Go-Go" on Broadway, or anything to confirm Bill Gazzarri's connection to these chips. If they were from a "go-go" club, I'm assuming maybe they were used as drink chips(?). Both sides of the chips are the same.
